Post-doctoral funding possibilities to work at the University of Victoria in computational stellar physics and nuclear astrophysics

Deadlines for several post-doctoral funding options are approaching fast:

(a)  CITA national fellowship (http://www.cita.utoronto.ca/index.php/Working-CITA/CITA-National-Fellowships): The CITA national fellowship pays for one year with the expectation that the host institution pays a matching one year.

(b) A very attractive possibility, a new program, the Banting post-doctoral fellowship: http://banting.fellowships-bourses.gc.ca/home-accueil-eng.html. This is a new program, and so, chances may be quite good.

(c)   For a shorter stay of maybe one year a fellowship from the Pacific Institute for the Mathematical Sciences (http://www.pims.math.ca/scientific/postdoctoral) could be combined with some matching funds from our grants.

(d)  An ideal way for Europeans: the International Outgoing Fellowships for career development (IOF) in the Marie Curie FP7 (http://cordis.europa.eu/fp7/mariecurieactions/iof_en.html). I am not sure when the next call will be made, but  chances for a “good fit” proposal are quite high.
